Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is at its best price on The Game Collection now
If you’re into viking carnage, free-roam assassination missions, and historical storytelling that’s… maybe thirty percent accurate at best, then good news! Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, which was released only weeks ago, has reached its lowest price so far if you buy it from The Game Collection website.
The game has been a hot launch title for the new generation and many were disappointed to see that prices for it didn’t really fall during Black Friday. And while it’s hard to call this price a discount, it’s the lowest out so far and probably the lowest you’re likely to see it for a little while. And don’t worry if you’re planning on getting the newer consoles – these are compatible with both the previous and new generations!
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla (Xbox One/Series X/S) buy from The Game Collection for £46.95
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla (PS4) buy from The Game Collection for £46.95
Valhalla ranked pretty highly in our review of it, getting four-out-of-five and being praised for a slow-burn experience that unfolds over time. It focuses on Eivor of the Raven Clan, whose village is forced to flee their homeland of Norway and resettle in England, only to discover a fractured nation full of would-be emperors at each other’s throats.
Meanwhile, Eivor herself is having strange hallucinations of the gods and hearing worrying prophecies, even as a mysterious organisation attempts to seize control of England from behind the scenes. And with a story campaign that should easily crack 100 hours minimum, you’ll have no trouble getting through the winter with this in your game library.
